Oh Comely

for oh comely
Drew this for the lovely Oh Comely Magazine. Accompanying an article about a teenage girl who shared her birthday party with her grandmother, and thoughts about keeping friends throughout your life. Just a simple drawing.

There was also a tiny interview with me at the back of the magazine (I'll spare you) and they're doing a giveaway for one of my garland kits too. It's a Kaye-heavy issue.

Milo immortalised in ink & clay

cat teapot designs
A few doodles of young Milo, and an attempt to sketch out a teapot design based on his fine physique. I already made a miniature Milo in ceramic a while back, but now I'm playing with clay again I want to make him into some more practical forms. We'll see - probably not particularly smart to make a big fragile teapot right before I have to lug it to the UK. Maybe this will be a project for England.

Dylan and Moses
A visit to Leah and Dylan's flat. They've made it a wonderful place full of wonderful objects, one in particular: Moses the kitten. He is a magnificent little chap. A Devon Rex (not a breed I was familiar with before), minuscule, and wildly happy to clamber on or over humans. You should check out Leah and Dylan's shared blog, for more Moses and more of their apartment.

Proudly fighting stereotypes about English Teeth. And still disappointed that I didn't get to keep my damn xrays.

Rabbit rubber stamps

rabbit rubber stamps
I carved some stamps a couple weeks ago, as prizes for an easter egg hunt. Now they're in their new homes, I've just got this post-it to remember them by. I think I'll re-make that grumpy face up top. I rather like him.
